This bit of information will come as old news to many but I figured it was time to make it official here on the blog. D and I are moving to Houston and we’re hitting the road next weekend. The move was in the making for some time now but things didn’t start falling into [...]
Best wishes from mango&lime.
Best wishes from mango&lime.
This little blog is mentioned in a feature on Miami in the New York Times’ T Magazine.
Now off to Area 31 for oysters and cocktails for a cure.
I spent all of last week – from weekend to weekend – sick at home and mostly in bed with what doctors now think was a severe allergic reaction to … something. It wasn’t fun and I even got to experience my first ever hospital meal, something I hope I won’t have to be subjected [...]
It’s been a long while since my last post. You probably already forgot me. And that’s OK. I hope I’ll win you back.
Despite my long absence, food has been and still is very much on my mind. It’s just that my mind was burnt out. Now that I’ve put multiple work projects to bed and [...]
It’s been a little less than a year since I changed mango&lime’s look, but I had been itching to give it a bigger face lift. This time, I got some professional help. The new look just went live and I can barely contain myself. So, here it is, the new mango&lime. What do you think? [...]
Just returned from five days in Key West. I was planning on blogging from there but didn’t realize I’d have no Internet access. I’m glad I didn’t. The relaxing break was much needed. Regular blogging will resume mañana.
I’ve spent quite a bit of time in the past two weekends making some changes to mango&lime that, I hope, will make it a little better.
First, if you really, really want one more daily email delivered to your inbox, I’ve added a box in the sidebar where you can sign up to have mango&lime posts [...]
It’s been a year.
Reading my first post last night, I giggled a little, remembering my beginnings in the blogosphere. It all happened almost by chance. An email from a friend planted the seed in my head. I hesitated but when I realized there were few, if not any, food blogs in Miami, I took the [...]
mango&lime is getting some love today. Check it out on the front page of FoodCandy — a myspace of sorts, but for foodies.
*Update: Also giving m&l some lovin’ today: SotP and kitchen window. I’m sure this is peanuts for other bloggers, but hey, let me have my moment.

I had been toying around with the idea of giving mango&lime a new look. This evening, I just started playing around and ended up with what you see today. It still needs some tweaking, but I kinda like it. Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?
A funeral, a vacation, nearly a month of working from 9 to 9 and my inability to get back into things quickly have kept me away from mango&lime for what in the blogosphere probably equates a decade. But this blog was in my thoughts always and I really couldn’t bear to abandon it, no matter [...]
I feel like I’ve been living under a rock for the past week or so. Life, work, have kept me away from Mango&Lime and the blogosphere for that matter. Finally today, I’m starting to catch up. A few items of interest:
The round-up of Dine & Dish #7 is now up. Sarah of The Delicious Life [...]
Life was a bit crazy last week. Between work, planning a birthday party and everything else, I had little time for cooking, let alone eating anything worthy of mention. As I got ready to write this post this morning, I found a comment from a friend kindly pointing out that I hadn’t posted in five [...]
On Tuesday, September 19, you might stumble upon an unfamiliar sight on this blog. Why? It’s called Miami Cross Blogination, an event dreamed up by Rebecca of Greener Miami, in which 22 Miami bloggers swap blogs for a day.
Mango & Lime gets mentioned on Miam blog Stuck on the Palmetto.
A little bit about this blog.
