Ruth Reichl at the Miami Book Fair

Save the date. Former Gourmet editor Ruth Reichl will discuss the “new culinary landscape” at the Miami Book Fair, which kicks off next Sunday, Nov. 8. You can hear Reichl, whose latest book Gourmet Today is a compilation of Gourmet’s best recipes, on Monday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. at Miami-Dade College’s Chapman Center. Admission is free.

  1. I wonder what she has to say about the fact that the Nov. issue of Gourmet is the last issue that will ever be published.

  2. I’m sure she’ll be asked but it seems like she’s already spoken extensively about that to various media outlets. Still, should be interesting to hear her speak.

  3. I hate that they weren’t given a final issue. I’m sure it was a numbers call but they really deserved at least that.
