What do Toyota and farmers markets have to do with each other? I don’t know. But this weekend Toyota is sponsoring los sabores del mercado Venza, a bilingual event that pairs local chefs with vendors at the Lincoln Road farmers market. Each chef will prepare Latin American-influenced dishes showcasing their assigned vendor’s products. Visitors will be able to sample these dishes, learn about buying seasonal food – and (surprise) test drive Toyota’s Venza if they so wish. The event takes place on Sunday, June 28 from 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Lincoln Road where it intersects with Euclid Avenue.
