I disliked Joeys, PV is very interesting and cant wait to return. Racks yeah the name is diffrent but the pie i had there was AWSOME. Great toppings, good upskirt. Going to Sosta tonite. I will keep you posted.

I wish I could have joined you guys. I thought Racks was just okay when I went. I didn’t love the crust and I thought the pie as a whole was on the heavy side. That said, I went the day after I went to Pizzavolante so maybe that had something to do with the heavy feeling I got.

Yummy! It’s only 10 AM here but those photos and the descriptions are already making me want pizza for lunch. Thanks for such a great review now I’ve got a few more spots to add to my list and a few more pizzas to try.

I wouldnt say I disliked Joey’s. I liked the pizzas but just not as much as I liked the PV pies. I wasnt a fan of the tuna pizza like everyone else though and the carbonara didnt really do it for me either. Glad to hear Racks was decent enough although I doubt I’ll ever make it up there for pizza unless Im in the area for some reason.

Steve – Drive wasn’t so bad. Calling a favorite is tough for me. If we’re talking about one pizza I have to say that Racks is up there with the spinach pizza but I don’t know that overall it’s best. I still like Joey’s (seems like I’m the only one). I want to go back to Pizza Volante for the cacciatorini because I keep hearing about how great it was and I think I got a slice that didn’t represent.

The beach crawl is going to be interesting…

Nice post! Glad you got to it, as I lacked the fortitude last night….I really enjoyed that portobello and gorgonzola pizza.
Blind Mind, my fave spots so far were Racks and Pizzavolante…

My wife and I enjoyed the evening and the company very much but in my estimation ,none of these three should be considered in the running for best Pizza of S.Fl, look foward to crawl 111 though.
