Trena - On a second visit to Chocolate Fashion I noticed they were out of a lot of things that a party at a nearby table ordered. My French toast were not served cold and I continue to like it. The service, however, was spotty as it was jam packed.

I went on Saturday AM food was sub-par what a disappointment after those photos.Ordered the Toasted Bagel w/Salmon. No toasted bagel minus cream cheese & tomatoe. French Toast cold and no butter served with it. The waitress had a hard time understanding us and only came to table once.

Karen - I was told and I read elsewhere that the owners are from Lyon, France.

Eleanor - Thanks for the tip. I stopped by there a few times to pick up my CSA box but haven’t been inside yet. I’ll give it a try soon.

Congrats Paula and Dave! Wonderful news. On your next shopping spree, go and visit Theine Tea Salon at 119 Madeira Avenue in the Gables. Kyra White, the owner and ex Slow Food president is a Cordon Bleu chef and creates amazing lunches using as many organic produce as she can. She is a FABULOUS baker, Ralph and my favorite is her delish strawberry and berry tart. I’m salivating at the mention of it. Plus her cozy cottage with paved courtyard is delightful. She makes a good cup of tea too and being Asian and having lived in England, where tea is THE drink, I’m very particular about my tea.
