Most holiday vendors’ holiday shipping deadlines have passed and if you’re like most people, you’re probably still scrambling for gifts for your loved ones. Customized Six-Pack (Prices vary)

You could spend an hour looking at the selection of beers at Total Wine in North Miami Beach. But what’s best is that they sell beer bottles individually so you can make your own six pack (they provide the Total Wine six pack carton). You can find beers from all over the world, including some that sound scary to drink. Old Engine Oil anyone? Salsaaaaaa! ($4.99 each)

 

How about some Pomegranate and Black Bean Salsa? Rosa Mexicano in Mary Brickell Village recently launched a line of food products. Their salsas, which also include Pineapple Salsa, Salsa Verde, Tomato-Chipotle Salsa and Chile Pasilla de Oaxaca Salsa, are for sale at the restaurant in pretty gift boxes (also available online). 900 South Miami Ave., Miami; 786-425-1001.

OK, I broke my promise. You’ll probably need to get this one shipped – although a Sur La Table did just open in Pembroke Pines – but I couldn’t resist. This is the trivial pursuit of food.
