The Captain's Tavern 2 for 1 is on Tuesday. Just go in and ask for the special and they'll know what you are talking about. I'm a little shocked that Michael was there on a Tuesday and didn't order the special. The lines are craziest on Tuesday and plenty of people are ordering the special.

I really like how Captain's Tavern will try to move bottles in their inventory when they only have a few left in stock. I've gotten some great deals (even better than the regular good deals) on these bottles. There's a list on the menu and also on the board to the right of the entrance to the cellar.

5 days without a new post!!! I'm lost, I don't know what to cook. I'm thinking of having a pop-tart for lunch!

Captain's Tavern also has a 2-for-1 Maine lobster special (on Thursdays?), for anyone who's interested. And it's the only place in Miami that I've ever found shad roe on the menu. A very unhip kind of place, but it sure hits the spot.
