Two for Tuesday at Perricone’s

I love good deals. At almost 29, I find myself in the same predicament as friends when it comes to money — we have to make an effort to make it stretch. Doesn’t matter how much we earn or try to save, we have to pay Miami rent prices after all. Among my money-saving strategies, I try to take lunch to work. But let’s be frank, sometimes there’s just no time and I’m left choosing from the mostly expensive food choices around my office. If it happens to be a Tuesday, though, Perricone’s — the well-known Brickell restaurant and gourmet market — has a pretty sweet deal at its deli. Two sandwiches on a baguette and two sodas for $10 (plus tax), cost I split with a coworker. It’s a good price for a good sandwich — try their Chicken Salad (this one’s huge; I sometimes save half for later) or Turkey and Brie.

  1. I am sooo proud of Paulita! The site is great and I really enjoy eating out and taking pics of the food.

  2. Thanks for the tip! I gotta try that! Good excuse to leave the beach. Those are also two of my favorite type sandwiches.

  3. Yup! It’s definitely worth it if you’re in the area. Their chicken salad is pretty famous from what I hear and it’s quite good. Aside from the sauce, it has pine nuts, golden raisins and I think a little bit of basil. It’s really yummy.

  4. Try San Francisco rent, sistah — I’ll take both sandwiches for $10.

  5. The food at Perricone’s is delish. And the chocolate gelato is divine!
